Located right in the community, Ohpaho Secondary School opened its doors in 2024 making it Leduc’s newest school!
Serving students in grades 8-12, the school features a fine arts studio, industrial kitchen, production facility, outdoor classroom, and even a robotics lab.
The school is able to accommodate up to 1,600 students, and is the first school in the Black Gold School Division to have an Indigenous name. Ohpaho is the Cree word for ‘taking flight’ and was chosen to represent the school’s students soaring toward a bright future.
